Wreaths can be EXPENSIVE. At least the cutesy homemade looking ones I like can be. Craft bazaars, Etsy, sure - I can find the perfect ones out there. But for about a year (since last fall, anyway) I really wanted to just make my own. So when I came across a set of three plain grapevine wreaths for sale on a swap/sell Facebook page for just $10, I quickly snatched them up to make all of my wreath-making dreams come true!
FALL + HARVEST WREATH
I bought a package of fake leaves, some gold-edged burlap ribbon, and found some pinecones outside of our house to put on this wreath. Simple and cheap. I added a little something extra by mod podging some chunky gold glitter to the tips of the pinecones. I also decided to leave the ends of the string used to tie the bow because I thought it looked cute! But feel free to cut yours off when making the bow if you prefer.

One wreath down, two to go. Hopefully another day soon I'll have to make more time for crafting while mommy-ing. I had little man in his bouncer seat right beside me during this one. :) The next wreath I want to make will be for winter/Christmas, and the other will be a year-round boxwood type of wreath (thanks, Fixer Upper for all the boxwood wreath goals).
