May is just three days away. I will finish my fourth semester of college on the 6th, will celebrate with several of my friends who are graduating from college/high school (yippee!), and I will also begin taking a summer class for the first time on the 14th! (I was trying to make that last one sound somewhat exciting for myself...still not sure how I feel about it.)
Also in May, I will also be participating in this adorable photo a day challenge similar to the one put out by Fat Mum Slim. Her blog gives a really great description of how these challenges work and what to post each day. I will be posting my photos daily to my Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #MayPhotoADay. At the end of the week I will add them to this post too.
I have never done a photo a day challenge before, and I know they're kinda last year, sorry. But I'm excited and I hope you'll do it with me.
See you on here/Instagram/Twitter on the 1st!

Day 1: Begins with J
Day 5: 4 PM
I was all smiles walking out of my second to last final.
Summer was so close!
Day 6:From Down Low
My drive home is the prettiest.
Day 7: Taken From Above
Our patio ft. freshly hatched baby birds
(on the ceiling fan)!
Day 8: Blue
Blue jean shirts are a thing again.
Day 9: Favorite
One of my favorite friends and, now, GRADUATE.
Day 10: In the Garden
Day 11: Mother
Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful mommy!
Day 12: Ready
You can't hear it, but a frog is croaking right next to my house
reminding me that I'm ready for bed.
Day 13: I Spy
Candy store selfie at Schimpff's Confectionery in Jeffersonville, IN.

Day 15: From Where I Walk
Daily striving to seek Him with all my heart.
Day 16: Create
Today's creation was a new blog banner!!
Day 17:Bag
Qutie possibly my most favorite bag ever! This was a Christmas present
from my boyfriend's mom and I keep all of my paint supplies
in it! Pretty sure it will be my go-to-teacher-bag when I get there.
Day 18:Something I Drew
Day 19:Alone
When I'm alone I write things in my journal and
do crafts I have been meaning to do.
Day 20:Waiting
I have been waiting (very impatiently) for this cd to come out. And also for the
free iced coffee days at McDonald's which started today. Yum.
Day 21:Card
Dad's 52nd birthday was May 21!
Day 22:Free
We served dinner to residents at Jeff Street Baptist Missions tonight.
Brandon shared his testimony and told us over and over again how amazed he was
by God's grace. He plans to go to Boyce in the fall and is recently engaged to his daughter's mother. Praise the Lord for saving him from his meth addiction and from his enslavement
to sin. He is FREE in Christ!
Day 23:Black + White
Having to study in the summer is weird, but it's helping me
prioritize my days. Being busy with a purpose feels a little
less chaotic.
Day 24:Sunrise
I missed the sunrise this morning, because it's my only day to
sleep in haha. But here's my first peep out my window.
Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day!
Day 25:Neighborhood

Day 25:Neighborhood
We have lived in the same neighborhood (matter of fact, same house)
our whole lives. There will come a day when we won't, bu I will have lots of memories
with this chick and my hood.
Day 26:Pet
Everybody, this is Chip.
Chip, this is everybody.
Day 27:Meal
Chick-fil-a's lemonade tastes like the fair.
Day 28:Unique
Decorating tables and preparing flowers for Amanda's
wedding was a pretty unique and exciting opportunity!
Day 29:Negative Space
Seen at the bus stop.
Day 30:Side View
These two put in some hard work for the wedding while
recovering from sickness and I am so thankful for them!
Day 31:Sunset
Boom.
Photo challenge: check.
My Thoughts?
Although these daily photo challenges require quite a bit of blood, sweat, and tears (and reaching some days, TBH) to make sure every day gets a fair chance at a good Insta, these are pretty fun.
I love that I will forever be able to look back at highlights from each day of this month. I think I can genuinely say that sprinkled within this collection of images are some of the very best that I have ever Instagrammed. (Can we just have a moment of silence for the sake of the world's vocabulary? I just said "Instagrammed." And it is 100% an acceptable verb now, yup.)
Here's to May and all of the good memories it gave us.
